 Alankriti Gopinatha

Architect . Urban Practitioner . Researcher

I'm a multi-disciplinary urban practitioner based in London and India. My work lies at the intersection of design, research, and advocacy, exploring how inclusive and sustainable spaces can transform the way we live and interact. Through thoughtful, context-driven design, I aim to shape environments that resonate with people and their surroundings. I strive to reimagine space through collaboration, equity, and lived experience.
This website is a digital archive of my professional and creative work. It is a space where I share my practice, process, and evolving journey as an architect, designer, researcher and urbanist.

What is design?

Design, for me, is an act of care. It’s a tool to question, include, and reimagine. I see it as a way to shape spaces that not only serve but speak, holding space for dignity, difference, and dialogue. My approach is rooted in the belief that design can address both spatial and epistemic injustices by challenging who gets to shape cities, whose knowledge counts, and whose voices are heard. Informed by research in housing justice, gender-sensitive urbanism, and climate resilience, I use design as a medium to engage with the social fabric of cities towards creating spaces that are grounded, equitable, and alive with meaning.

Let's collaborate and build something meaningful together!
